Collision
damage waiver (CDW):
US$ 10.- per day.
In the event of damages to the
AVIS
car, the renter will be required to pay up to total value of vehicle towards the
repair of the vehicle. This requirement will be partially waived to US$ 1000.-
if the renter elects to purchase the
Loss damage Waiver. The renter will be
responsible for the full cost of the damage if the car is driven in violation of
the rental agreement, is abused or driven recklessly or while under the
influence of alcohol or drugs.
Theft
protection coverage (TPC): In the event of theft, the renter will
be required to pay up to total value of vehicle rented. The requirement can be
reduced to
US$ 500.-, if the renter elects to purchase the
Theft
Protection Coverage. In either case, the customer must return the keys of the
AVIS vehicle and present the police declaration; otherwise, customer will be
responsible up to the full cost of the vehicle.
Additional
driver:
No charge.
Refueling
service:
A
refueling service charge will be incurred if a car is returned with less fuel
than when rented.
ONE WAYS:
One way rentals are allowed between
AVIS locations at no charge. Cars may be left at
Beef Island Airport for a fee of US$
25.- Cars are not allowed
outside the Island of Tortola.
