Third
Party Liability insurance: MANDATORY.
US$ 5.-
per day. Purchase of
third party liability
insurance, at applicable fee depending on car group, is mandatory. The insurance
provides the customer with public liability and property damage coverage up to US$
10,000.- The renter will be fully responsible, if the
car is driven in violation of the rental agreement, is abused or driven
recklessly or while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Personal accident insurance
(PAI): US$
2.- per day. Provides accidental death and medical expense benefits
to the renter and all passengers in the
AVIS car.
Additional Driver:
US$ 1.- per driver, per rental. All additional
drivers have to be registered at time of rental and must meet
AVIS qualification
standards.
Airport Fee: US$ 4.- per rental.
Refueling
service:
A refueling service
charge will be incurred if a car is returned with less fuel than when rented.
One
Way Rental Policy:
One Way rentals are allowed
within the city of
Lima at no charge. One way
rentals between cities are not available with this rate. Cars are not allowed
outside Peru.
