GENERAL CONDITIONS IN BONAIRE

When renting an AVIS car the client will be asked to accept or decline any of the optional coverage's or insurances. If the customer initials to accept the coverage's and/or the insurances the client will NOT be reimbursed.

 

CONDITIONS

Local currency: NAG.

 

TAX: 5%.

 

Government tax: NAG 6.- (approx. US$ 3.45) per day.

 

Reservations: Reservation must be placed with AVIS at least 48 hours prior from departure from the country.

 

Minimum: 3 days.

 

Minimum / Maximum: 23 / 80 years.

 

Driver's License: Valid drivers license from country of origin, which must be 3 years old. Passenger must present an international credit card.

 

Credit Card: An International credit card accepted by AVIS will be required at the time you collect your vehicle; said credit card will be blocked to be used as a guarantee and to cover any extra charge not included in the Voucher, such as, gas, insurance deductible, etc.


Debit Cards: IMPORTANT; Are not accepted as deposit. Since credit cards issued in Latinamerica do not allow credits the deposits cannot be reimbursed.
 

ADDITIONAL CHARGES

Additional driver(s): NAG 17.50 per driver, per day (approx. US$ 10.-). Only 2 authorized drivers are permitted per rental. All additional drivers have to be registered at time of rental and must meet AVIS qualification standards.

 

Collision damage waiver (CDW): NAG 20.- (approx. US$ 11.-) per day. In the event of theft vandalism or loss, the renter will be required to pay all the cost toward the repair of the vehicle. This requirement will be partially waived to  NAG 1000.- (approx. US$ 556.-). if the renter elects to purchase the Collision damage waiver. The renter will be responsible for the full cost of the damage if the car is driven in violation of the rental agreement, is abused or driven recklessly or while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Refueling service: A refueling service charge will be incurred if a car is returned with less fuel than when rented.

 

One Way Rentals: Not allowed.
