American Express, Master Card or Visa. In some locations Cabal, Diners and other cards to be consulted.
An
International credit card accepted by AVIS
will be required at the time you collect your vehicle.
Credit card
authorization shall be required for the whole franchise or for the franchise
reduction (if the customer purchases coverage). Said amount will be blocked
as guarantee to cover any extra charges not included in the Voucher, such as
gas, etc. Should there not be available margin, the car will not be rented.
Debit
Cards: IMPORTANT;
Are not accepted as deposit. Since
credit cards issued in Latinamerica do not allow credits the deposits cannot be
reimbursed.
Monthly
rentals: For 27-minimum and 31-day maximum rentals, the
mileage accumulated will be of 5600 km, as from the 32nd
day, 200 km more will be accumulated per rental day.
Roadside assistance:
AVIS provides an emergency road service number that changes according to the
zone. Please verify the number in the counter at the moment of pick up.

Accident Insurance

covered while in the car or getting off or on the vehicle.

It also includes legal advising and mechanical help.
Personal
Effects Protection Insurance (PEP): $

per day, TAX included.
Optional insurance, the renter’s
personal belongings will be protected against theft, by making a police report
to claim for the reimbursement of up to $ 1000.- The reimbursement will
cover the value of the asset stolen up to a maximum of $ 1000.- in every
aspect. The renter will be responsible for the first $ 100.-

Buenos Aires, Córdoba, La Plata and Mendoza.
Monthly rentals: In order to
reduce the coverage of monthly rentals, the customer must pay the amount
equivalent to 18 days of the additional coverage requested for the car
category of the rental.
Civil
Liability Insurance against transported and/or non-transported third parties,
damage to property and/or personal damage: It covers up to $ 3,000,000.-
The renter will be held
responsible for all damages caused to the car by misusage and/or driving
through unpaved, rubble or sandy roads or any other road improperly paved.
AVIS will not be responsible if the vehicle is damaged because of driving
through unpaved, rubble or sandy roads or any other road improperly paved
and or for any delay, loss, expense or replacement of the vehicle. The customer will also be
responsible for any damage to the car or any breach of law incurred by any
person driving the car during the term of the rental established by the
Rental Agreement.
