GENERAL CONDITIONS IN FINLAND

Conditions Mandatory Charges Optional Charges One Way Insurance & Coverage

When renting an AVIS car the client will be asked to accept or decline any of the optional coverage's or insurances. If the customer initials to accept the coverage's and/or the insurances the client will NOT be reimbursed.

CONDITIONS

Local Currency: Euros (€).

Local Tax: 22%.

Driver’s License: It is mandatory for all non-residents in Europe to bear the International Driver’s License which must be presented with the license of the country of origin. The latter must be at least one year old.

The International Driver’s License must be submitted along with the license of the country of origin before the police, the municipal authorities, etc. whenever required. Should the same be not held, it may result in severe fines and penalties that may reach the car seizure.

Minimum Age:

Groups A - C: 21 years.
Groups D - L: 25 years.

Minimum Rental: 3 days. Weekly Rate 4-7days (it may vary according to rate).

Grace period to give the cars back: 29 minutes.

Credit Card: An International credit card accepted by AVIS will be required at the time you collect your vehicle; said credit card will be blocked to be used as a guarantee and to cover any extra charge not included in the Voucher, such as, gas, insurance deductible, etc.

Debit Cards: IMPORTANT; Are not accepted as deposit. Since credit cards issued in Latinamerica do not allow credits the deposits cannot be reimbursed.

MANDATORY CHARGES

Airport Fee: € 20.- plus tax, per rental. Applicable in Helsinki-Vantaa.

Vehicle Registration Fee: 10%.

OPTIONAL CHARGES

Additional Driver: Consult.

Luggage Rack: € 4.- per day, plus tax (maximum € 32.- plus tax, per rental).

Ski Rack: € 8.- per day, plus tax (maximum € 64.- plus tax, per rental).

Child Safety Seat: € 4.- per day, plus tax (maximum € 32.- per rental, plus tax).

Booster Seat: € 2.- per day, plus tax (maximum € 16.- plus tax).

Snow Tires: No charge during winter season.

ONE WAY RENTALS

Domestic	Groups A - F, L, J & K	More than 7 days rentals: no charge
	Groups A - E, L & K	Less than 7 days: 350.- plus tax
	Groups F - J	Less than 7 days: 450.- plus tax
International	Groups A - G	Refer to *AVIS* location

Special Conditions: A vehicle rented in Finland can not driven to: Bulgaria, Slovak Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania and Yugoslavia.

INSURANCE & COVERAGE

In case of damage or theft of an AVIS vehicle:
If CDW/TP is declined: The table amounts will be applied (Responsibility Full Value).

If CDW/TP is accepted: Only the deductible will be applied.
